About Me

I will be riding the challenging 1891 Eagle HiWheel across the USA in 2012. On it in the summer '09,I HiWheeled across the western US to Salt Lake City to promote the nonprofit National Bicycle Greenway. Having lost the 2010 season because a car turned in front of me, destroying my bike, I am riding the Eagle in Ireland now where I am busy learning about the Greenway successes they are enjoying (my meeting with the Irish president/Taoiseach) here.

Shawn Raymond - New USA Manager for SJ/SF to Boston Ride

We spent some time visiting with the amazing Renaissance Man who has become the new USA manager for our National Bicycle Greenway  Mayors' Ride journey across America with the Eagle, Busycle and 40 foot support bus. Shawn Raymond is an inventor, patent holder, engineer, mechanic, sculpture artist and business founder who brushes the challenge our ride represents off as just another day at the office.
